I've only read the first 6 or so in that series...need to get back, but I probably won't until I start them over as I read them to my kids.

I'm currently reading Anansi Boys by Gaiman. You'll have to let me know how good/bad a read Fragile Things turns out to be.

Mangas count as books? If so, Usagi Yojimbo, fourth volume. Addictive.

tracking back through Man Booker Prizewinners; I recently finished 'Life of Pi-'which I thought was excellent - and 'Vernon God Little,' which I found average.'

Neil Gaiman- Anansi Boys

Eugaet- Fragile Things was fantastic.

And the Redwall series pretty much was my childhood. I love that series.

Well, aside for books that are required for class, I'm just about finished with Sidewalk, by Mitchell Duneier. It's an excellent book about Mitchell's ethnographic study of (mostly) homeless book/magazine vendors on the streets of New York.

Once I'm done with that, I'll likely move on to Iron Council, by China Miéville. It's part of a trilogy, and I finished the other two quite some time ago. It's sort of between the science fiction/steampunk genres. Good stuff.

Failed States - Noam Chomsky. Love his writing style. Easy reading on US foreign policy.

The World is Flat - Thomas Friedman, a bit dry but an eye opener on how companies and people are affected by globalisation.
